No. 25 USC 71 COLORADO 68

Chimezie Metu hit a turnaround jumper with 34 seconds left in the game, and the USC Trojans held on to defeat the Colorado Buffaloes, 69-68.

Despite going 3-19 (15.8 percent) from three, nearly 20 percent below their season average of 36.6 percent, the Trojans outlasted the Buffaloes for the win.

Metu paced the Trojans with 24 points and six rebounds. The Buffaloes’ George King netted 16 points, pulled down nine rebounds and handed out a pair of assists.

The Trojans improve to 16-3 and the Buffaloes fall to 10-8.

No. 22 CINCINNATI 55 EAST CAROLINA 46

Kyle Washington led Cincinnati (15-2) with 16 points and 11 rebounds for a double-double. Elijah Hughes netted 18 points, grabbed three rebounds and blocked a pair of shots for East Carolina (9-10). Cincinnati has now won eight straight games while East Carolina has lost five straight.

OTHER:

INDIANA 76 RUTGERS 57

Thomas Bryant (Bishop Kearney) scored eight points and collected three rebounds for Indiana.
