No. 14 LOUISVILLE 78 No. 7 DUKE 69

Ray Spalding scored five points during a 9-0 run early in the second half for the Louisville Cardinals to take the lead over the Duke Blue Devils, which they did not surrender.

The Blue Devils entered the game averaging 11.6 turnovers per game and turned the ball over a season-high 18 times.

Anas Mahmoud scored 17 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for the Cardinals. Grayson Allen picked up 23 points and nine rebounds for the Blue Devils.

The Cardinals improve to 15-3 and the Blue Devils drop to 14-4.

No. 1 BAYLOR 77 No. 25 KANSAS STATE 68

Manu Lecomte picked up 26 points while adding two assists and two steals for Baylor (16-1). D.J. Johnson netted 20 points, grabbed four rebounds and collected three blocks for Kansas State (13-4).

No. 2 KANSAS 87 OKLAHOMA ST. 80

Josh Jackson led Kansas them with 20 points, 11 rebounds and four steals for a double-double. Jeffrey Carroll scored 23 points and hauled in seven rebounds for Oklahoma State (10-7). The Cowboys have lost their last five games.

No. 3 VILLANOVA 70 ST. JOHN’S 57

Villanova’s (17-1) Donte DiVincenzo led the Wildcats with 19 points, adding three rebounds and two assists to his night. Marcus LoVett put up 12 points, four assists and three rebounds for St. John’s (8-11).

No. 4 UCLA 83 UTAH 82

UCLA’s (18-1) Lonzo Ball (17 points, eight assists, six rebounds and five steals) and TJ Leaf (12 points and 10 rebounds) fueled the Bruins’ win. Kyle Kuzma (15 points and 11 rebounds) helped Utah (12-5) in its comeback attempt.

No. 5 GONZAGA 79 No. 21 SAINT MARY’S 56

Nigel Williams-Goss topped Gonzaga (17-0) with 19 points and six assists. The loss breaks Saint Mary’s (15-2) nine-game win streak, while Gonzaga remains the only unbeaten team in the country.

No. 6 KENTUCKY 92 AUBURN 72

Malik Monk‘s 24 points and six assists helped Kentucky (15-2) to the win.

No. 8 CREIGHTON 101 TRUMAN STATE 69

Marcus Foster led Creighton (17-1) with 21 points, and Justin Patton added 14 points and 10 rebounds for a double-double.

No. 11 NORTH CAROLINA 96 No. 9 FLORIDA STATE 83

UNC’s (16-3) Joel Berry II scored 26 points to lead the Tar Heels and Theo Pinson contributed a double-double (12 points, 10 rebounds). Jonathon Isaac of Florida State (16-2) netted 17 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for the Seminoles. The loss breaks Florida State’s 12 game winning streak.

Jevon Carter paced West Virginia (15-2) with 17 points, four rebounds and three assists. Jarrett Allen led Texas (7-10) with 19 points and seven rebounds.

No. 12 BUTLER 83 No. 15 XAVIER 78

Kamar Baldwin of Butler (15-3) put up 21 points and nine rebounds. Xavier’s (13-4) Edmond Sumner led the Musketeers with 22 points and three assists.

No. 13 OREGON 85 OREGON STATE 53

Payton Pritchard led Oregon (16-2) with 17 points and five rebounds. Oregon State (4-14) has now lost five straight.

No. 19 VIRGINIA 77 CLEMSON 73

London Perrantes netted 25 points and added two rebounds and two assists for Virginia (13-3). Jaron Blossomgame from Clemson (11-6) put up 22 points and grabbed six rebounds in the game.

No. 20 NOTRE DAME 76 VIRGINA TECH 71

Steve Vasturia dropped 20 points to go with four assists and four rebounds, and Bonzie Colson had a double-double (14 points, 12 rebounds) for Notre Dame (16-2). Chris Clarke gave Virginia Tech (13-4) a 21-point, nine-rebound and five-assist performance.

No. 23 FLORIDA 80 GEORGIA 76

Canyon Barry had 27 points and seven rebounds in the win for Florida (14-3). J.J. Frazier put together a 25 point, five assist, four rebound and four steal night for Georgia (11-6).

PENN STATE 52 No. 24 MINNESOTA 50

Mike Watkins dropped a double-double (15 points, 15 rebounds) for Penn State (11-7). Minnesota’s (15-4) Reggie Lynch tallied 12 points and six rebounds for the Golden Gophers.

Emmitt Holt (Webster Schroeder) scored 10 points and grabbed five rebounds for Providence.

BALL STATE 92 BUFFALO 77

Dontay Caruthers (East High) scored four points and collected three rebounds for Buffalo.

TULSA 70 TEMPLE 68

Quinton Rose (Bishop Kearney) scored three points and dished out three assists for Temple.

ST. BONAVENTURE 73 FORDHAM 53

Antwoine Anderson (Bishop Kearney) scored 13 points, along with collecting two assists and two rebounds, in his return to Rochester for Fordham.
