Steve Vasturia drove into the paint and got a tough layup to go with 11 seconds remaining to secure a Notre Dame Fighting Irish win. The loss ended Miami’s 21-game win streak at home.
Despite shooting 25 percent from three, more than 15 percent below their 17th ranked average (40.2 percent), the Irish outlasted the Hurricanes on the road.
Matt Farrell led the Irish with 15 points, six assists and four rebounds. Davon Reed scored 21 points, grabbed six rebounds and dished out three assists for the Hurricanes.
The Irish improve to 15-2 and the Hurricanes drop to 11-4.

Bryce Alford netted 37 points and added two rebounds for UCLA (17-1). Xavier Johnson paced Colorado (10-6) with 21 points and six rebounds.

Przemek Karnowski topped Gonzaga (16-0) with 17 points, four assists and four rebounds.

Lauri Markkanen led Arizona (16-2) with 30 points and eight rebounds. Arizona State’s (9-9) Obinna Oleka scored 22 points and pulled in nine rebounds. Arizona has won 10 consecutive games.

Peter Jok netted 29 points, collected eight assists and six rebounds for Iowa (11-7). Purdue’s (14-4) Caleb Swanigan posted 17 points and eight rebounds.
No. 18 WISCONSIN 89 OHIO STATE 66
Bronson Koenig scored 21 points, along with three assists, for Wisconsin (14-3). Ohio State (10-7) has now lost four straight.
No. 21 SAINT MARY’S 74 PORTLAND 33
Calvin Hermanson contributed a 27-point, six-rebound night for Saint Mary’s (15-1).
No. 22 CINCINNATI 66 SMU 64
Cincinnati’s (14-2) Troy Caupain dropped 16 points, grabbed seven rebounds and dished out six assists. Sterling Brown (20 points, 11 rebounds) and Ben Moore (11 points, 11 rebounds) picked up double-doubles for SMU (14-4). Cincinnati’s winning streak reached seven. The loss snapped SMU’s ten-game winning streak.

Devon Daniels scored 17 points and Kyle Kuzma (12 points, 11 rebounds) dropped a double-double for Utah (12-4).
