Freshman forward Eric Curry scored seven during a 13-2 Minnesota run in overtime. The Gophers held Purdue, the ninth best three-point shooting team in the country (41.3 percent per game), to 9-for-28 (32.1) from behind the arc.
Junior guard Nate Mason paced Minnesota with a 31-point, 11-assist and six-rebound night.
Purdue’s Caleb Swanigan hit a jumper with five seconds left to send the game into overtime. Swanigan led Purdue with 28 points and 22 rebounds on the night.
Minnesota improves to 13-2 and Purdue falls to 12-3.
No. 13 BUTLER 78 PROVIDENCE 61
Kelan Martin scored 15 points, grabbed eight rebounds and dished out three assists for Butler (12-2). Kyron Cartwright scored 26 points, grabbed six rebounds and dished out four assists for Providence (10-5). Junior forward Emmitt Holt (Webster Schroeder) scored six points and grabbed seven rebounds for Providence.

Freshman guard Rawle Alkins netted 19 points, along with pulling seven rebounds, for Arizona (12-2). Sophomore center Chance Comanche contributed 13 points and 10 rebounds for a double-double off the bench.
No. 23 CINCINNATI 92 TULANE 56
Kevin Johnson led Cincinnati (12-2) with 15 points, and Troy Caupain added a nine points, eight assists and five rebounds for the Bearcats.
