No. 11 WVU “steals” win from Northern Kentucky

No. 11 WEST VIRGINIA 92 NORTHERN KENTUCKY 61

Senior forward Nathan Adrian highlighted an 11-4 run early in the second half with six points, and West Virginia took a 17-point advantage.

The Mountaineers added to their NCAA-leading 150 steals with 17 thefts. Northern Kentucky  committed  25 turnovers in the game, 11 more than their average of 14. Northern Kentucky is 214th in the country in that department.

Junior guard Jevon Carter led West Virginia with 11 points, seven rebounds, four assists and four steals.

West Virginia improves to 11-1 and Northern Kentucky drops to 9-4.

No. 14 WISCONSIN 90 FLORIDA A&M 37

Wisconsin’s (11-2) top player was senior forward Vitto Brown, who picked up 11 points, eight rebounds and two assists.

No. 23 USC 94 WYOMING 92 in OT

Junior guard Jordan McLaughlin led USC (13-0) with 22 points, including the game-winning basket, six rebounds and five assists, and senior guard Jason McManamen led Wyoming (10-3) with 23 points, five assists and two rebounds.

BOSTON COLLEGE 79 PROVIDENCE 67

Emmitt Holt (Webster Schroeder), a junior forward for Providence, dropped a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds.
