Bulls end Spurs’ undefeated record on the road

Thursday’s NBA action.

CHICAGO BULLS 95 SAN ANTONIO SPURS 91

CHICAGO – Dwyane Wade dropped 20 points to help the Bulls (12-10) end the Spurs’ undefeated record on the road. Rajon Rondo nearly finished with a triple-double with 12 points, 10 rebounds, and nine assists. Jimmy Butler added 13 points and nine boards. Kawhi Leonard had a game-high 24 points for the Spurs (18-5).

TORONTO RAPTORS 124 MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES 110

TORONTO – DeMar DeRozan had 27 points, eight rebounds, and five assists to help the Raptors (15-7) beat the Timberwolves (6-16) for the 13th straight time at the Air Canada Centre. The last time the Wolves won in Toronto, Vince Carter was on the Raptors. Kyle Lowry (25 points and 11 assists) and Jonas Valanciunas (20 points and 10 boards) both added double-doubles. Andrew Wiggins, who grew up just outside of Toronto, finished with 25 points for the Wolves.

WASHINGTON WIZARDS 92 DENVER NUGGETS 85

WASHINGTON – John Wall paced the Wizards (8-13) with 15 points, seven rebounds, five assists and three steals. Bradley Beal added a game-high 26 points. Jameer Nelson (Saint Joseph’s) finished with 10 points and eight assists for the Nuggets (8-15). Nikola Jokic scored 17 points and grabbed 11 boards off the bench.

MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES 88 PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS 86

MEMPHIS – Toney Douglas hit two clutch free-throws with less than a second remaining in the game to help the Grizzlies (16-8) grind out the victory. The former New York Knicks’ guard finished with 11 points. Marc Gasol paced Memphis with 36 points and nine rebounds. Troy Daniels (VCU) added five points. C.J. McCollum (Lehigh) finished with a team-high 24 points for the Blazers (12-12).

PHILADELPHIA 76ers 99 NEW ORLEANS PELICANS 88

NEW ORLEANS – Ersan Ilyasova scored 23 points and grabbed eight rebounds to help the Sixers (5-18) get the win in “The Big Easy.” Sergio Rodriguez chipped in with 16 points and eight assists. Anthony Davis finished with 26 points and 11 rebounds for the Pelicans (7-16). Langston Galloway (Saint Joseph’s) added 19 points off the bench.

GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS 106 UTAH JAZZ 99

SALT LAKE CITY – Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant paced the Warriors (20-3) with 26 and 21 points, respectively. Durant added 11 rebounds. Draymond Green had a well-rounded game – 13 points, 10 rebounds, eight assists, and four steals. Rudy Gobert finished with 20 points and 17 boards for the Jazz (14-10). Joe Ingles scored 21 points off the bench.
