Leonard drops 30 for fifth time this season

Tuesday’s NBA action.

New York Knicks 114  Miami Heat 103 

MIAMI- The Knicks (12-9) continue their four-game winning streak with the win Tuesday night. Carmelo Anthony led the way with 35 points, four rebounds and two assists. Kristaps Porzingis added 14 points and 12 rebounds. The Heat (7-14) were led by Goran Dragic with 29 points, four rebounds and seven assists. Hassan Whiteside earned himself a double-double with 23 points  and 14 rebounds.

Orlando Magic 124  Washington Wizards 116

WASHINGTON-  The Magic (10-12) continued their winning streak with a win Tuesday night led by Elfrid Payton with 25 points, nine assists and three steals off the bench. Jeff Green, also off the bench, had 20 points and three rebounds.  The Wizards (7-13) were led by John Wall with 52 points, four rebounds, eight assists and three steals. Bradley Beal added 19 points, three rebounds and three assists. Andrew Nicholson (St. Bonaventure) had two points and one rebound in eight minutes off the bench.

Detroit Pistons 102  Chicago Bulls 91

DETROIT-  The Pistons (12-11) are 6-2 in their last eight games, most recent win coming on Tuesday night led by Tobias Harris with 22 points, seven rebounds and two assists. Andre Drummond picked up a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds. The Bulls (11-10) were led by Jimmy Butler who had 32 points, six rebounds and four assists. Dwyane Wade added 19 points and seven assists.

Memphis Grizzlies 96 Philadelphia 76ers 91

MEMPHIS-  Marc Gasol led the Grizzlies (15-8) to their fourth straight win Tuesday night with 26 points and 12 rebounds. JaMychal Green added 13 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Troy Daniels (VCU) helped with 10 points in 25 minutes played off the bench. Ersan Ilyasova led the way for the 76ers (4-18) with 23 points and 17 rebounds. Dario Saric added 17 points and seven rebounds off the bench.

San Antonio Spurs 105  Minnesota Timberwolves 91

MINNESOTA-  Kahwhi Leonard led the way for the Spurs (18-4) on Tuesday night with 31 points, four assists and two steals. This was Leonards fifth 30 point game this season. Patty Mills added 15 points, four rebounds and five assists off the bench. The Timberwolves (6-15) were led by Zack LaVine with 25 points.  Gorgui Dieng added 16 points and grabbed nine rebounds.

Utah Jazz 112 Phoenix Suns 105

UTAH-  The Jazz (14-9) win Tuesday night makes them 8-1 in their last nine games. Led by Gordon Hayward with 28 points, five rebounds, four assists, and three steals. Rudy Gobert earned himself a double-double with 22 points and 11 rebounds. Devin Booker led the way for the Suns (6-15) with 21 points. Brandon Knight had 15 points off the bench. He added seven rebounds and five assists.
