NEW YORK – Carmelo Anthony and Derrick Rose dropped 20 points apiece to help New York (11-9) win eight of their last 11 games. Kristaps Porzingis added a double-double – 15 points and 14 rebounds. Brandon Jennings scored 19 points off the bench. DeMarcus Cousins finished with 36 points and 12 boards for Sacramento (7-13).
ORLANDO MAGIC 98 DETROIT PISTONS 92
DETROIT – Serge Ibaka scored 21 points and grabbed seven rebounds to give Orlando (9-12) their second straight road victory for the first time this season. The former Oklahoma City Thunder forward added three steals and four blocks to his impressive stat-line. Nikola Vucevic added 16 points and eight boards off the bench. Reggie Jackson, who made his season debut, finished with 18 points for Detroit (11-11).
OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER 101 NEW ORLEANS PELICANS 92
OKLAHOMA CITY – Russell Westbrook dropped his fifth straight triple-double with 28 points, 17 rebounds, and 12 assists for Oklahoma City (13-8). Westbrook became the first player to post at least five straight triple-doubles since the great Michael Jordan posted seven straight in 1989. Enes Kanter added 17 points and 10 boards. Anthony Davis finished with 37 points and 15 rebounds for New Orleans (7-14).
INDIANA PACERS 111 LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS 102
LOS ANGELES – Paul George scored 16 points, grabbed seven rebounds, and dished out five assists to help give Indiana (10-10) the season-series sweep. George missed the last three games due to a back injury. Thaddeus Young added 17 points and seven boards. Blake Griffin (24 points and 16 rebounds) and Chris Paul (18 points and 11 assists) both finished with double-doubles for Los Angeles (16-6).
