OAKLAND – James Harden posted a triple-double with 29 points, 15 rebounds, and 13 assists to help Houston (12-7) snap Golden State’s (16-3) 12-game winning streak in double-overtime. Ryan Anderson and Eric Gordon added 29 and 23 points, respectively. Kevin Durant led all scorers with 39 points. Stephen Curry, who fouled out for the first time since December 2013 (also against Houston), finished with 28 points. Draymond Green, who also fouled out, almost posted a triple-double with 20 points, 15 rebounds, and nine assists.
MILWAUKEE BUCKS 111 BROOKLYN NETS 93
BROOKLYN – Giannis Antetokounmpo led Milwaukee (9-8) with 23 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists to give them the win in Jason Kidd‘s homecoming. Kidd, who is now the head coach of the Bucks, played six-and-a-half seasons with the Nets from 2001-2008, and coached them for one year in the 2013-2014 season. Jabari Parker added 22 points. Brook Lopez finished with 15 points for Brooklyn (5-13).
CHARLOTTE HORNETS 97 DALLAS MAVERICKS 87
CHARLOTTE – Kemba Walker dropped 18 points and dished out five assists to lead Charlotte (11-8) to the victory. Nicolas Batum added 12 points, nine rebounds, and six dimes. Harrison Barnes scored 17 points and grabbed nine boards for Dallas (3-15). Deron Williams finished with 14 points and eight assists.
MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES 95 ORLANDO MAGIC 94
MEMPHIS – Marc Gasol sunk two clutch free-throws with 12.2 seconds remaining to help Memphis (12-8) pull off the victory. Gasol finished with 25 points and five blocks. Troy Daniels (VCU) dropped 19 points off the bench for the second consecutive game. Evan Fournier led Orlando (7-12) with 28 points. Nikola Vucevic added a double-double off the pine – 18 points and 11 rebounds.
LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS 113 CLEVELAND CAVALIERS 94
CLEVELAND – J.J. Redick paced Los Angeles (15-5) with 23 points to help them snap a three-game losing streak. Chris Paul chipped in with a well-rounded effort – 16 points, nine assists, and six rebounds. Kyrie Irving led Cleveland (13-4) with 28 points. LeBron James and Kevin Love added 16 points apiece.
MIAMI HEAT 111 UTAH JAZZ 110
SALT LAKE CITY – Goran Dragic scored 27 points and handed out six assists to help Miami (7-12) squeeze out the victory. The Heat got some much needed fire-power off the bench, as James Johnson and Wayne Ellington chipped in with 24 and 17 points, respectively. Gordon Hayward finished with 32 points and seven assists for Utah (11-9). Joe Johnson dropped 18 points against his former team.
