MINNEAPOLIS – Carmelo Anthony hit the game-winning shot with 2.3 seconds left to give New York (9-9) the narrow victory. The former Syracuse forward finished with 14 points. Kristaps Porzingis led the Knicks with 29 points and eight rebounds. Karl-Anthony Towns dropped a career-high 47 points and 18 boards for Minnesota (5-13). The Piscataway, New Jersey native became the third-youngest player in the last three decades to have at least 45 points and 15 rebounds in a game.
DETROIT PISTONS 121 BOSTON CELTICS 114
BOSTON – Andre Drummond put in 20 points and grabbed 17 rebounds for Detroit (10-10). Kentavious Caldwell-Pope led the Pistons with 25 points. Tobias Harris and Marcus Morris added 21 and 20 points, respectively. Isaiah Thomas dropped 27 points for Boston (10-8).
TORONTO RAPTORS 120 MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES 105
TORONTO – Kyle Lowry paced Toronto (12-6) with 29 points and eight assists. DeMar DeRozan added 24 points, nine rebounds, and six assists. Former Raptor Vince Carter did not play for Memphis (11-8), but got a loud standing ovation from the crowd when he appeared on the video board in the second quarter. Carter, who was dealt by Toronto to the New Jersey Nets in December of 2004, has had to deal with his fair share of boos almost every time he returned to Air Canada Centre as a visiting player. Troy Daniels (VCU) finished with 19 points off the bench.
LOS ANGELES LAKERS 96 CHICAGO BULLS 90
CHICAGO – Julius Randle posted a double-double with 13 points and 20 rebounds to help Los Angeles (10-10) get their first win in Chicago since Dec. 15, 2009. Louis Williams and Jordan Clarkson each chipped in with 18 points off the bench. Jimmy Butler led Chicago (10-7) with 22 points.
OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER 126 WASHINGTON WIZARDS 115 (OT)
OKLAHOMA CITY – Russell Westbrook posted his fourth straight triple-double – 35 points, 14 rebounds, and 11 assists to give Oklahoma City (12-8) the overtime victory. Victor Oladipo added 25 points. John Wall finished with 15 points and 15 assists for Washington (6-11). Bradley Beal led the Wizards with 31 points.
SAN ANTONIO SPURS 94 DALLAS MAVERICKS 87
DALLAS – Patty Mills led San Antonio (15-4) with 23 points off the bench to help the Spurs come back from a 13-point deficit. Kawhi Leonard added 21 points and seven rebounds. Wesley Matthews led Dallas (3-14) with 26 points.
MIAMI HEAT 106 DENVER NUGGETS 98
DENVER – Hassan Whiteside scored 25 points and grabbed 16 rebounds to give Miami (6-12) the victory in Mile-High City. Wayne Ellington chipped in with 22 points off the pine. Jameer Nelson (St. Joseph’s) finished with 17 points and eight assists for Denver (7-11).

PHOENIX – Brandon Knight led Phoenix (6-13) with 23 points off the bench. P.J. Tucker added 17 points. Dennis Schroder finished with 31 points and nine assists for Atlanta (10-9). Dwight Howard earned a double-double with 17 points and 14 boards. Mike Muscala (Bucknell) grabbed three rebounds.
PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS 131 INDIANA PACERS 109
PORTLAND – Damian Lillard put up 28 points and dished out 10 assists to give Portland (10-10) the blowout victory. C.J. McCollum (Lehigh) added 19 points. Jeff Teague finished with 25 points and eight assists for Indiana (9-10).
