Warriors win 12th straight

Monday’s NBA action.

Oklahoma City Thunder 112  New York Knicks 103

NEW YORK-  The Thunder won their third straight led by Russell Westbrook who earned himself his eighth triple-double of the season with 27 points, 18 rebounds and 14 assists. Steve Adams added a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. The Knicks were led by Derrick Rose with 30 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Kristaps Porzingis added 21 points. The Thunder improved to 11-8 and the Knicks fell to 8-9.

Boston Celtics 112 Miami Heat 104 

MIAMI- The Celtics pulled out a road victory led by Isaiah Thomas who had 25 points, four rebounds and eight assists. Avery Bradley added 18 points. Goran Dragic led the way for the Heat with 27 points and 17 assists. Hassan Whiteside added a double-double with 25 points, and 17 rebounds. The Celtics improve to 10-7 and the Heat fall to 5-12 on the season.

Washington Wizards 101 Sacramento Kings 95

WASHINGTON- The Wizards pull out a home victory led by Bradley Beal who had 31 points. John Wall added 19 points and dished out 11 assists. Andrew Nicholson (St. Bonaventure) added 2 points off the bench. DeMarcus Cousins led the way for the Kings with 36 points and 20 rebounds. Rudy Gay added 18 points.  The Kings fall to 7-11 and the Wizards improve to 6-10.

Toronto Raptors 122 Philadelphia 76ers 95

TORONTO- The Raptors picked up their 11th victory of the season led by Kyle Lowry dropping 24 points and dishing out eight assists. Terrence Ross came off the bench adding 22 points. Robert Covington led the way for the 76ers dropping 20 points and grabbing five rebounds. The 76ers fell to 4-14 and the Raptors improved to 11-6.

Charlotte Hornets 104 Memphis Grizzlies 85

MEMPHIS-  The Hornets won their second straight led by Kemba Walker who had 21 points. Jeremy Lamb added 21 points off the bench and grabbed nine rebounds. Brian Roberts (Dayton) only got four minutes of time and wen 0-2 from the field.  Trevor Graham (VCU) added 6 points off the bench. Marc Gasol led the way for the Grizzlies with 19 points and eight rebounds. Mike Conley added 14 points. Troy Daniels (VCU) played 14 minutes and was 0-3 from the field. The Hornets improve to 10-7, as the Grizzlies fall to 11-7.

Utah Jazz 112  Minnesota Timberwolves 103

MINNESOTA- The Jazz picked up their third straight victory led by former Pacer George Hill with 24 points, eight rebounds and four assists. Gordon Hayward also dropped 24 points and grabbed five rebounds. Zach LaVine led the way for the Timberwolves with 28 points eight rebound and eight assists. Karl-Anthony Towns dropped a double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds. The Jazz improved to 10-8 as the Timberwolves fell to 5-12.

Golden State Warriors 105 Atlanta Hawks 100

GOLDEN STATE- The Warriors continued their winning streak, extending it to 12 games in Monday’s victory.  Kevin Durant had 25 points and 14 rebounds. Stephen Curry also added 25 points. Dennis Schroder led the way for the Hawks with 25 points and six assists. Paul Millsap (14 points and 14 rebounds) and Dwight Howard (14 points and 16 rebounds) earned themselves a double-double on the night. DeAndre’ Bembry (Saint Joseph’s) did not play in this contest. The Warriors improved to 16-2 and the Hawks fell to 10-8.
