Minnesota Timberwolves 98 Phoenix Suns 85
PHOENIX- The Timberwolves ended a three-game losing streak with Andrew Wiggins dropping 25 points and grabbing five rebounds. Karl Anthony Towns picked up a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Eric Bledsoe earned himself a double-double with 23 points and 10 assists. Brandon Knight dropped 15 points and grabbed four rebounds. The Timberwolves improve to 5-10 and the Suns fall to 5-12.
Oklahoma City Thunder 132 Denver Nuggets 129 (OT)
DENVER- The Thunder ended a three-game losing streak, led by Russell Westbrook who registered a triple-double with 36 points, 18 assists, and 12 points. Victor Oladipo added 26 points. Wilson Chandler added a double-double with 32 points and 11 rebounds for the Nuggets. Jameer Nelson (Saint Joseph’s) added a double-double as well 21 points and 13 assists. The Thunder fall to 9-8 and Nuggets fall to 6-10.
Indiana Pacers 118 Brooklyn Nets 97
INDIANA- The Pacers were led by Glenn Robinson III with 20 points and six rebounds. Rodney Stuckey helped the Pacers end their two game losing streak with 18 points and four rebounds. Brook Lopez drops 20 points and grabbed four boards. Sean Kilpatrick added 16 points and dished out seven assists. The Nets fall to 4-11 and Pacers improve to 8-9.
Miami Heat 90 Memphis Grizzlies 81
MEMPHIS- Tyler Johnson helped the Heat to a victory with 22 points and five rebounds off the bench. Dion Waiters added 15 points and four rebounds. Mike Conley came off the bench to give the Grizzlies 16 points. JaMychal Green added 14 points and six rebounds. The Heat improve to 5-10 and Grizzlies fall to 10-6.
Toronto Raptors 105 Milwaukee Bucks 99
MILWAUKEE- The Raptors extend their winning streak to two games with DeMar DeRozan with 26 points, seven rebounds, and four assists. Kyle Lowry added 19 points, five rebound and six assists. The Bucks were led by Giannis Antetokounmpo who had 29 points and 11 rebounds. Tony Snell added 16 points. The Raptors improve to 10-6 and Bucks fall to 6-8.
Utah Jazz 95 Atlanta Hawks 68
UTAH- The Jazz extend their winning streak to two games led by Gordon Hayward with 24 points and seven rebounds. George Hill added 23 points and grabbed five rebounds. The Hawks were led by Dennis Schroder dropped 16 points. Thabo Sefolosha added 11 points and grabbed seven rebounds off the bench. The Hawks fall to 10-6 and Jazz improve to 9-8.
Detroit Pistons 108 Los Angeles Clippers 97
DETROIT- All five starters scored in double figures with a minimum low of 16 points by three different players, Andre Drummond, Ish Smith, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. Marcus Morris led the way with 17 points. Blake Griffin and J.J. Redick scored 24 apiece. Chris Paul dished out 15 assists. The Clippers fall to 14-3 and Pistons improve to 8-9.
Chicago Bulls 105 Philadelphia 76ers 89
PHILADELPHIA- The Bulls finished a six-game road trip four and two led by Dwyane Wade and Jimmy Butler with 26 points from each. Rajon Rondo dished out 10 assists. The 76ers were led by Ersan Llyasova dropping 14 points and seven rebounds. Richaun Holmes and Nik Stauskas dropped 13 points off the bench. The Bulls improve to 10-6 and 76ers drop to 4-12.
New York Knicks 113 Charlotte Hornets 111
NEW YORK- The Knicks extended their winning streak to three games led by Carmelo Anthony with 35 points and 14 rebounds. Kristaps Porzingis and Derrick Rose added 16 points in the victory. Marco Belinelli came off the bench for the Hornets dropping 19 points. Nicolas Batum added 18 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists. The Knicks improve to 8-7 and Hornets fall to 8-7.
Cleveland Cavaliers 128 Dallas Mavericks 90
CLEVELAND- The Cavs are 9-2 in their last 11 games and are led by Kevin Love with 27 points, 10 rebounds and four assists. Kyrie Irving dropped 25 points while Lebron James added 19 points. Dirk Nowitzki led the Mavericks with 15 points. Seth Curry came off the bench and dropped 13 points. The Mavericks fall to 2-13 and Cavaliers improve 12-2.
Washington Wizards 94 Orlando Magic 91
ORLANDO- John Wall paced the Wizards with 26 points, seven rebounds and 10 rebounds. Otto Porter Jr. dropped 19 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Serge Ibaka led the way with 19 points and eight rebounds. Nikola Vucevic added 17 points and grabbed 17 rebounds. The Wizards improve to 5-9 and Magic fall to 6-10. BOSTON- The Spurs earned their 13th victory of the season led by Kawhi Leonard who had a double-double with 25 points and 10 rebounds. Patty Mills came off the bench and added 19 points. Isaiah Thomas led the way for the Celtics with 24 points and dished out eight assists. Avery Bradley added 19 points and grabbed eight rebounds. The Celtics fall to 9-7.
Portland Trail Blazers 119 New Orleans Pelicans 104
PORTLAND- Damian Lillard helped the Trail Blazers get to .500 at 9-9, scoring 27 points and dishing out 11 assists. C.J. McCollum (Lehigh) added 24 points. Anthony Davis scored a double-double for the Pelicans with 31 points and 13 rebounds. Jrue Holiday scored 16 points off the bench. The Pelicans drop to 6-11.
Golden State Warriors 109 Los Angeles Lakers 85
LOS ANGELES- The Warriors improve to 14-2 led by Kevin Durant who had 29 points, nine assists, and six rebounds. Stephen Curry added 24 points and dished out five assists. Jordan Clarkson dropped 20 points and had five steals. Louis Williams added 13 points. The Lakers fall to 8-9.
Houston Rockets 117 Sacramento Kings 104
SACAREMENTO- James Harden led the Rockets to their 10th win of the season with a triple-double netting 23 points to go with 10 rebounds and 10 assists. Trevor Ariza added 18 points and grabbed nine rebounds. DeMarcus Cousins added 32 points and grabbed nine rebounds for the Kings. Ty Lawson and Matt Barnes added 12 points. The Kings dropped to 6-10.
