Thompson heats up Boston

CHARLOTTE HORNETS 100  ATLANTA HAWKS 96

CHARLOTTE-  Nicolas Batum led the way for the Hornets with a double-double – 24 points and 10 rebounds. Cody Zeller added 23 points. The Hawks Paul Millsap finished a double-double with 22 points and 13 rebounds. Kent Bazemore added 19 points. The Hornets move to 8-3 on the season and the Hawks fall to 9-3.

PHOENIX SUNS 116  INDIANA PACERS 96

INDIANA- Brandon Turner came off the bench and led the way for the Suns with 17 points and five assists. Jared Dudley added 16 points and five rebounds in the win. Myles Turner scored 22 points to lead the Pacers and added six rebounds. Jeff Teague added 21 points while dishing out seven assists. The Pacers fall to 6-7, while the Suns move to 4-9.

CLEVELAND CAVALIERS 104  DETROIT PISTONS 81

CLEVELAND- Kyrie Irving notched a double-double with 25 points and 11 assists. LeBron James added 21 points to the 23 point victory. Jon Leuer came off the bench to lead the way for the Pistons with 15 points and seven rebounds. Andre Drummond grabbed 10 rebounds. The Pistons fall to 6-7 and the Cavaliers move to 10-2.

NEW ORLEANS PELICANS 113  PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS 101

NEW ORLEANS-  Anthony Davis netted 38 points and six rebounds in the victory tonight over the Trail Blazers. Jrue Holiday added 21 points and dished out seven assists in his season debut. Damian Lillard scored 27 points and C.J. McCollum added 24 points. The Pelicans move to 3-10 and the Trail Blazers fall t0 .500 at 7-7.

OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER 124 BROOKLYN NETS 105

OKLAHOMA CITY- Russell Westbrook earned a triple-double with 30 points, 13 assists, and 11 rebounds. Victor Oladipo  added 26 points of his own. Brook Lopez scored 22 points in the loss. The Thunder improved to 8-5 and the Nets drop to 4-8.

GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS 104  BOSTON CELTICS 88

BOSTON- One half of the splash brothers in Klay Thompson earned tallied 28 points and picked up five rebounds and three assists. Kevin Durant added a double-double himself with 23 points and 10 rebounds. Isaiah Thomas led the way for the Celtics with 18 points. Averly Bradley added 17 points. The Celtics drop to 6-6 while the Warriors improve to 10-2.

MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES 80  DALLAS MAVERICKS 64

DALLAS-  Chandler Parsons led the way for the Grizzlies with 12 points. JaMychal Green grabbed 12 rebounds in tonights victory. Harrison Barnes earned 15 points and seven rebounds.  The Grizzlies move to 7-5, while the Mavericks fall 2-9 on the season.

TORONTO RAPTORS 113  DENVER NUGGETS 111 (OT)

DENVER-  DeMar DeRozan led the way for the Raptors with 30 points in the overtime victory over the Nuggets. Kyle Lowry added a double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds. Emmanuel Mudiay scored 25 points and dished out nine assists. Danilo Gallinari added 21 points and grabbed nine rebound. The Nuggets fall to 4-8 and the Raptors improve to 8-4.

SAN ANTONIO SPURS 116  LOS ANGELES LAKERS 107

LOS ANGELES- Kawhi Leonard totaled 23 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for the Spurs. LaMarcus Aldridge put up 23 points and had three blocks in the victory over the Lakers. Louis Williams led the way for the Lakers with 24 points. Nick Young added 22 points and grabbed four boards. The Lakers fall to 7-6 and the Spurs improve to 10-3.

LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS 121  SACRAMENTO KINGS 115

SACAREMENTO-  Blake Griffin totaled 29 points, seven rebounds, and six assists in a victory over the Kings. J.J. Redick hit his first six threes to total 26 points for the Clippers. DeMarcus Cousins earned himself a double-double 38 points and 13 rebounds. Ty Lawson added 18 points and dished out eight assists. The Kings fall to 4-9 and the Clippers improve to 11-2 and 6-0 on the road this season.
