SHERRILL, N.Y. — The Syracuse Salt Cats won their third straight game with a convincing 6-1 defeat of the Sherrill Silversmiths in New York Collegiate Baseball League action Wednesday at Noyes Park.

Sean Pisik (Le Moyne College) dominated on the mound against the Silversmiths striking out seven over six innings. The 5-foot-11 Syracuse native only allowed four hits and limited Sherrill to one run.

Daniel DePaoli (Hamilton College) suffered his second loss of the season. He allowed three runs in five innings while issuing five walks.

Justin Clark (Lesley University) led the Salt Cats offensively with a 3-for-4 performance including a double and three runs scored. Michael Villa (Lackawanna College) led Sherrill with two hits, two stolen bases and a run in the losing effort.

Syracuse (9-6) takes a two-day break before returning to Sherrill (4-11) on Saturday.
