ST. LOUIS – Saint Louis University head men’s basketball coach Jim Crews announced today that Zeke Moore has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend the University and play for the Billikens. Moore begins his four years of eligibility beginning with the 2016-17 season.
Moore, a 6-foot-6 guard/forward, is entering his senior season at Riverview Gardens High School in St. Louis.
“I am excited about Zeke becoming a Saint Louis Billiken,” Crews said. “He is a bright, high-character young man. Zeke’s personal make-up, competitiveness and leadership will be a great asset to our program. He is a versatile player who can score, handle the ball and facilitate; a unique combination given his size.
“Zeke comes from an outstanding family and has been very well coached in high school by his father, Coach Gerard Moore,” Crews said. “He personifies the type of young man we want to represent Saint Louis University.”
As a junior last season at Riverview Gardens, Moore averaged 25.3 ppg – second in the metro area – and led his team in assists and steals. He was a 62.8-percent (189-301) shooter from the field and hit 52.2 percent (47-90) from 3-point range. Moore was tabbed the Suburban North co-Player of the Year for his efforts.
