La Salle finished 17-16 (8-10 in A-10 play) last season and fell to Davidson in the conference quarter-finals.
Dr. John Giannini and his staff welcome three players to the lineup: Karl Harris, Dusan Majstorovic and Yevgen Sakhniuk.
Third Team 3A/4A All-State selection by the IBCA…Named First Team All-Chicago Catholic League…Also named to News Gazette Special Mention 50…Scored 29 points in the Garris Future SuperStars All-Star game…Helped De La Salle to the Chicago Catholic League Tournament championship…Played AAU for the Illinois Stars.
Averaged 14 points and six rebounds at Lee Academy which included a season-high 36 points against Bridgeton Academy….Was a member of the Under-16 Serbian Super League team, averaging 21 points per game to be named team MVP…Was also a member of the U-16 Serbian national team.
2014-15: Did not appear in any games. Served a NCAA mandated year in residence.
High School: Member of Ukranian U-16, U-18 and U-20 national teams…Averaged 16 ppg. and 11 rpg. in February against American high school teams while playing for his club squad, Get Better Academy…Sakhniuk averaged 10.9 ppg. and 8.9 rpg., both team-highs in 2013 European U-18 Championships…Played in the 2013 FIBA Europe All-Star Game and participated in the dunk contest.
