OLEAN, N.Y. – Walk this way.
The Olean Oilers earned two walk-off wins over the Niagara Power (4-3/6-5) in New York Collegiate Baseball League action at Bradner Stadium, Monday night.
The Oilers took game one as Mike Fahrman (Florida) delivered a two out, two-run double to win it.
Down 2-1 going into the seventh inning of a scheduled seven-inning game, Niagara scored two runs to go up 3-2. Gabe Sevigny (Olivet Nazarene) tied it up with a single, and later scored the go-ahead run himself on a passed ball.
But in the bottom of the seventh inning, Sam Kysor (USC Upstate) worked a walk, and David “Bubba” Hollins (St. Petersburg) came through with a two-out single to set the stage for Fahrman’s heroics.
Adam Rigney (Nichols) went 6.2 innings for the Oilers and struck out four. Nathan Grant (St. Bonaventure) pitched the final out of the seventh inning and earned the win.
Olean stayed hot into game two, scoring two runs each in the first two. Aaron Phillips (St. Bonaventure) delivered a two-run single in the bottom of the first, and Isaac Dillard (Gulf Coast CC) came through with a two-run double in the bottom of the second.
Down 4-0 in the fourth, Niagara put up three runs as Caleb Lang (Cairn) and Jessep Polk (North Greenville) came around to score, and Jordan Hayes (Olivet Nazarene) delivered an RBI single to bring the score to 4-3.
Niagara picked up where they left off in the top of the fifth. John Conti (Canisius) came around to score on a wild pitch to tie it, and Polk smacked an RBI double to put the Power ahead, 5-4.

Olean tied it up in the sixth.
Dillard was hit by a pitch, and scored on an RBI single from Hollins.
With the game knotted in the bottom of the seventh, Cole Peterson (St. Bonaventure) worked a one-out walk. Brandon Savage (Marymount) came to the dish with two outs and kept the inning alive with a single, moving Peterson to second. With a man in scoring position, Kysor delivered the clutch single to score Peterson and give Olean their second walk-off win of the day.
Grant pitched the final three innings of game two in relief and earned his second win of the day. The southpaw allowed two hits and struck out two in his second appearance.
Both teams will head to Niagara and face off for two more games on Wednesday, July 15. The games are scheduled to begin at 5:00 and 7:00 PM.
Olean had 12 hits in game one. Fahrman had three of them, going 3-for-3 with an RBI.
Caleb Lang went 4-for-4 with two runs scored in game two for Niagara.
Dillard stole three bases in game one, tying him for fourth in the league.
Niagara has now lost six consecutive games and sits 1.5 games ahead the fourth-place Oilers in the Western Division standings.
