1. Jonquel Jones (George Washington) – Jones put on the performance of the century on the road, in a pivotal early conference match-up. The double-double machine poured in 24 points and pulled down 17 rebounds in the Colonials conference opener.
2. Taylor Brown (George Mason) – Brown proved once again why she is an elite scorer, scoring 25 points, her fifth straight game tallying 20 or more points.
3. Natasha Cloud (St. Joseph’s) – Cliff Paul’s distant Philadelphia co-worker and a member of the Dilfer’s Dimes club, Cloud dished out 10 assists in the Hawks conference opening win.
4. Andrea Hoover (Dayton) – Hoover is an elite player and has the potential to be the best player in the Atlantic 10, but in a critical game against GW Hoover only played 24 minutes, adding 15 points and seven rebounds.
5. Katie Healy (St. Bonaventure) – In a gritty win inside the Reilly Center, Healy scored 25 points, grabbed nine rebounds, and dished out five assists. Healy has the ability to take over a game and she showed it against UMASS.
6. Charise Wilson (Rhode Island) – The freshman sensation Wilson has looked anything like a rookie so far this season. In her first Atlantic 10 game she tailed 17 points and six rebounds.
7. Genevieve Okoro (Richmond) – Okoro has been a force thus far for the Spiders this season, but she saved her best for A-10 play. The redshirt senior recorded a monster double-double (21 points and 13 rebounds), while adding five blocks.
8. Ally Malott (Dayton) – Like Hoover, Malott has the potential to be a top five player in the Atlantic 10, but on a big stage against GW she fouled out. Malott would tally 13 points and six rebounds for the Flyers in their loss.
9. Sadie Stipanovich (Saint Louis) – The Billikens suffered a loss in their conference opener, but Stipanovich recorded another strong performance, scoring 17 points and grabbing 11 rebounds.
10. Kim Pierre-Louis (UMASS) – Pierre-Louis had a rough go against St. Bonaventure, but she has proved time and time again she can take over a game and be an elite offensive force.
Top Freshmen:
1. Charise Wilson (Rhode Island) – Wilson is by far the top freshman in the Atlantic 10 and in her first conference game she tallied 17 points and added six rebounds.
2. Mackenzie Latt (Davidson) – Latt has been impressive so far for the Wildcats and she saved the best performance of her young career for her first conference game, 16 points and 14 rebounds.
3. Cierra Dillard (UMASS) – Dillard was the heart and soul of the Minutewomen in their tough loss at St. Bonaventure, scoring 14 points and adding four assists and four steals.
4. Mariah Ruff (St. Bonaventure) – Since being added to Jim Crowley’s starting unit, Ruff has only made a positive impact both offensively and defensively. The Oneonta, N.Y. native scored 10 points, added seven rebounds, and dished out four assists in her first conference game.
