Wings, Bulls game suspended

ROCHESTER, NY (Tuesday, August 12) – Tuesday night’s game between the Rochester Red Wings and Durham Bulls at Frontier Field has been suspended in the top of the third inning due to rain with the game tied 1-1.

 

The two teams will play a single-admission doubleheader on Wednesday beginning with the completion of Game One (a nine-inning game) at5:05 p.m. Gates will open at 4:00 p.m.

 

Game Two will be a seven-inning contest and will begin approximately 30 minutes after the completion of Game One. Both games will be televised on Time Warner Cable Sports Channel 26/323.

 

The first 2,500 fans Wednesday will receive a free magnet featuring 1981 IL Rookie of the Year Cal Ripken Jr. presented by Vanderstyne Toyota. For each of the last two days of the Durham series, use special offer code “BRANDTHEBULLS” when ordering online to receive $1 off all tickets.

Fans with tickets for Tuesday’s game can exchange them for any other remaining regular season home game at Frontier Field this season. All ticket exchanges must be made at the Frontier Field Box Office. Please note that these exchanges do not have to be made immediately; fans with tickets for Tuesday’s game can exchange them throughout the remainder of the 2014 season.
