Host Dave Holcomb is back on Around the Diamond to recap the World Series action from games 1 and 2. Everyone talked about the pitching rotation and who had the offensive advantage, but it was the defenses that won and lost the first two games. And what do we make of the “controversial/non-controversial” call in game 1, not to mention the reports about a substance on Jon Lester’s glove. All that in the first segment. In the second segment, Holcomb discusses the pitching matchups and the toughest decisions for each manager in games 3, 4 and 5. Who plays first base? Matt Adams and Mike Napoli or Allen Craig and David Ortiz? It’s all debated here on Around the Diamond.
