Around the Diamond is approaching the end of its first season, but host Dave Holcomb is excited to watch the World Series just like every other baseball fan. On today’s show, Holcomb tries to keep it brief, recapping game six from both league’s championship series. The St. Louis Cardinals offense came to life, and the numbers with runnings in scoring position finally reflect that from the regular season. The Boston Red Sox had another clutch hit from Shane Victorino, but everyone wants to talk about the Tigers bullpen collapse. Holcomb reminds everyone Boston was the better team in the series. Then our host makes his Game 1 and Game 2 predictions and mentions some other top news from around the league including manager drama in both Detroit and Los Angeles.
