The baseball playoffs really heat up this weekend with both the National League and American League Championship Series going into a 6th game. On today’s show, host Dave Holcomb recaps the action from the week in both leagues. Detroit fans might feel their team could have easily won every game so far, but it’s been Boston that’s been the better teams through the first five games. In the National League, St. Louis had a great chance to end the Dodgers with the bases loaded in the 1st inning of game 5. Zach Greinke pitched out of the jam, and the power bats woke up for LA. Which road team down 3-2 has the better chance at taking the series? In the third segment, Holcomb makes his predictions, which slightly changed since the last episode. To end the show, Holcomb mentions two stories involving teams not playing this week. All that and more in “Around the Diamond.”
