Just when it did not look like things could get much worse for the Brewers outfielder, Yahoo Sports reports Ryan Braun tried to use other baseball stars to back his story of a fake positive test back during 2012 spring training. Braun told his peers the man who collected his urine was an anti-Semitic and Chicago Cubs fan.
The test collector, Dino Laurenzi Jr. has since declined Braun’s anti-Semitic allegation to a source close to him, but his favorite baseball team remains unclear.
Major League Baseball was supposed to hand Braun a 50-game suspension just a season after he won the NL MVP award, but the Brewers’ All-Star appealed his suspension and won.
Braun also won the support of fellow National League stars Dodgers Outfielder Matt Kemp, Reds First Baseman Joey Votto and Rockies Shortstop Troy Tulowitzki.
In addition to their support, Braun is close-friends with cross-town star Quarterback Aaron Rodgers. In a debate with a fan on twitter, Rodgers went as far as to bet one year of his salary on Braun being clean.
After getting caught a second time, all these players and friends feel betrayed as Braun’s lies continue to leak out, with the latest being the names he called the test collector.
Also over the weekend, Braun’s former friend Ralph Sasson claims Braun’s agent paid him $5,000 to dig up information on the test collector, Laurenzi. Sasson also said Braun used PEDs during his playing days at the University of Miami according to Yahoo Sports.

Braun’s actions are disgusting! Very sad day for Brewer fans!
