Records will fall as Sharks host Admirals

March 13, 2012 by Kyle Soppe Leave a Comment

The Rochester RazorSharks will look to pass two milestones when they face off against the Lake Michigan Admirals on Wednesday, March 14 at 7:30 pm at the Blue Cross Arena at the Rochester Community War Memorial.

Fan favorite Jerice Crouch is five assists away from breaking the RazorSharks all-time record of 435 assists set by Lazarus Sims. Crouch is in his fifth year as a RazorShark and is averaging 3.9 assists in his career for a total of 431.

As a franchise, the RazorSharks will welcome their 400,000th fan into the game. As a special treat to this lucky fan, they will sit on the RazorSharks’ “Benches on Parade” bench right next to the RazorSharks team bench and will receive season tickets for the 2013 season.

The RazorSharks also welcomed a new member of their roster during their road trip, as Joseph Dorsett-Jeffreys scored six and seven points, respectively, in the two road games. Dorsett-Jeffreys is from Bronx, N.Y. and played college basketball at Norfolk St. in Virginia. The 26-year old seven-footer will be active for the game versus Lake Michigan.

Guard Keith Friel will be placed on the injured reserve with a strained calf and is considered day-to-day.

The RazorSharks will also be offering two promotions during the game, as the first 300 kids though the door will receive a free RazorSharks t-shirt, courtesy of Nike Team and ADPRO Sports.

March is also Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month and there will be a booth to pick up a free screening kit. Fans who wear anything blue can buy one ticket and receive a second ticket for free.

Tickets are on sale at the Blue Cross Arena Box Office, which can be reached at (585) 758-5300 or at ticketmaster.com.
