Women’s A-10 Tournament Bracket

With today being the final day of A-10 conference play, we can now fill in the 2012 A-10 Bracket. The game’s will begin Friday at noon, with the champion being crowned Monday night at 5pm (on ESPN2). The top seeds are looking to secure/improve their spot in March Madness, while the lower seeds are looking to steal an automatic bid to the Dance.

The action kicks off with eighth seeded La Salle Explorers playing the ninth seeded  Xavier Musketeers at noon on Friday. The winner advances to play the top seed St. Bonaventure at noon on Saturday.

Upon conclusion of the 8/9 game, the fifth seeded St. Joesph’s Hawks take on the twelfth seeded Fordham Rams. The winner goes on to play the fourth seeded Richmond Spiders at 2:30 on Saturday afternoon.

The seventh seeded Duqesne Dukes and tenth seeded George Washington Colonials to battle at roughly 5pm, with the winner advancing to play perennial power house and 2012 two seed Temple Owls.

The final game of the first round features the sixth seeded Charlotte 49ers vs the eleventh seeded St. Louis Billikens. The victor will oppose the third seeded Dayton Flyers at 7:30pm.
