So much to choose from this week.
I’m going with David West’s performance in game 5 of the West Conference semi-finals. West scored 38, grabbed 14 rebounds, and dished out 5 assists as the Hornets erased a three-point halftime deficit and won 101-79.
Who gets your POTW?
I am going with Sid Crosby. This is one terrific Hockey Player.
Staying with the same sport but changing the topic- I really would like to listen to the playing of the American and Canadian National Anthems before each Stanley Cup game. Stop breaking to a commercial.
It also was a great thrill to hear Kate Smith sing “God Bless America”. That really got the Spectrum crowd going.
Once again money has taken something away from part of the game.
But you can’t beat the game of hockey when the boys line up, when the series is over, and shake hands. The goose bumps just multiply.
1a) Alphonso Soriano for the week
1b) Lance Berkman (ditto)
2) Paul Pierce in Game 7
